Warum die Lila Hilfe nicht gemeinnützig ist
Ein Schutz vor dem Eingriff des Staates mit staatlichen Mitteln ist so gut wie unmöglich. Deshalb sind wir zu 100% unabhängig.

Stories of Solidarity
Darinda, 33
Oberhausen
Darinda fled Sudan and met a man shortly after arriving in Germany. He treated her very well at first and quickly gained her trust, but the relationship became violent over time. Since they started living together, he has hidden her papers from her and controlled her, frightening her that she will be deported if she does not obey him.
Through a women's counselling centre that was able to help her with legal issues, she came into contact with Lila Hilfe. They provided financial support for her to move to another city and buy a new mobile phone, making it more difficult for her ex-partner to continue stalking her.
Gabi, 56
Lübbenau
Gabi has been searching in vain for a domestic violence counselling centre in her daughter's hometown of Lübbenau to support her daughter. Gabi's daughter has recently been in a relationship with a violent man and has asked her mother for help in finding support. Gabi wants to enable her daughter to leave her relationship with her partner, recommend counselling services in her area and help her find a place to live. She contacted Lila Hilfe. The association recommended counselling centres and therapists in the area and promised financial support for moving costs.
